Heritage Bicycles General Store2959 N. Lincoln Ave. Chicago, IL |
On Jun 21, 2012, Reviewer Lindsay Bailey says:Welcoming Stumptown Coffee Roasters into Chicago is the lovely Heritage Bicycles General Store; bike coffee shop done quite well. Heritage dons a 2 group Linea (<3 <3) and builds locally, hand-crafted whips (..bikes, that is) right here, too. I'm not sure if there's another place in the city where you can get a flat fixed + a (good) cup of coffee for $10. That's neat-o. On to the coffee. I had a good espresso here a couple of months ago, which proves Heritage's score has room for quick improvement ++ this place has obv potential. Vis: Av + (big bubbles everywhere, nice final design but pour seemed unintentional and rushed.) C&P: Av (too thick, microfoam not incorporated well) Taste: Av (over extracted, too hot, milk slightly burnt but spro had complimentary sweetness)
