On Jul 05, 2011, Reviewer Dan Baumfeld says:Visual - Good. You had a nice rosetta, mostly centered. Some large bubbles all over. C & P - Good. Large bubbles. Taste - Avg plus. A touch hot, coffee came through ok. Would have liked more sweetness to score higher. All in all, I was more impressed than I thought I was going to be. Go Boise! (In an unrelated note, I tried to get coffee here on July 4th, but they were closed, and I had to wade across a sea of parade to get there. I'm no coffee shop owner, but I might seriously consider being open with thousands of people lined up all around to see a parade. I'm just sayin') (Also, my son Olen wanted to watch the parade, and I was quite pleased to see the wacko Tea Party get only a tiny fanatical smattering of applause, while the Democratic Party got lots of it. Go Boise) Ok, back to the shop. It reminded me of what people think coffee shops should look like. The coffee shop in "So I married an axe murderer" for example. It was a great example of the quirky coffee shops. Curly fonts meet mix and match furniture. Half of the store was a gift store for god's sake. Not my cup of tea exactly, but as it's the best coffee in Boise, I won't be too harsh. Well done Flying M.
