Sam gave me a tour of lower Manhattan & New York Coughfee... and well, as it goes, it was divine: An Inverted Aero-Press of Counter Culture's: Kenya Thiriku -- .Taste / Tomato Bisque, Apricot, Chicken Broth, Fuck -- Amaz'zing!. Honestly, truly: the best cup of coffee I've ever had in my life. Balanced acidity, sweetness, and bitterness. Dense but not sooty mouthfeel. Perfect. .Atmosphere / Good-plus. Lots of NYU-heavy intellectuals looking to get laid by a dancer. Sparse & airy arrangements... a shared-space with an unrefined coldness. .Personality / It's Sam's shop... so naturally it's beautiful, playful, spot-on, and quirky. You wouldn't be out-of-place here.
